Documentaries 101 (Workshop #5) - A/V Room, Tuesday Morning
"Alright, bi - girls, so Lunchbox says you should have some footage already," Jay said when their two remaining students arrived in the A/V lab. "'Cause fatass is gonna teach you guys how to edit it or some shit like that."
Silent Bob just rolled his eyes and gestured the girls over to one of the computers in the lab, showing them how to log in and download their footage from the cameras. His practice reel was of life outside the Kwik Stop, meaning lots of Jay being loud and offensive, some dancing, a random shot of a stray cat, and a few people going by. Jude skated through the shot, then skated by, saluting with one of the two large slurpees in his hand. Bob had turned the camera to follow his progress down the street.
Once that was done, and once again conducting the entire lesson without saying a word, Silent Bob took them through the various editing features and special effects, from titles to overlays to editing to adding music to playing with colours. He replayed the Jude segment at an excelerated speed, making his movements jerky and comical, with an overlay of the Benny Hill theme. Then again in slow motion, with a dramatic, sweeping orchestral theme that made it suitably dramatic.
When he had gone through all the features he stepped back, encouraging the girls to experiment and have fun with their own clips.

Play with the editing

Re: Play with the editing
There is the few random interviews that won't really help with anything from when she first got the camera, and the interview from class which is helpful, and her
handwaveyfootage of weapons demonstrations by Miho, and that's a lot of fun to play with. After she starts working with the program, she gets really wrapped into it. If it weren't for the fact that her documentary was about swords, she might have actually even forgotten for a while about Yuunagi.Talk to the boys
