Basketball game, gym -- 1:30 FHT Saturday

The other equipment in the gym has been moved out of the way, and it's finally game day. There are t-shirts for the blue and gold gremlins on each bench and a heavy air of expectation in the air.

Mostly, expectation that something will go horribly wrong. But it's expectation anyhow.

Anders took the inbound for his team after the shot and did something highly inadvisable: namely, he decided to dribble along the baseline in his quest for an open teammate.

Unfortunately that wasn't really happening, so he threw up a desperation shot from somewhere under the basket.

Much to his disbelief, it hit the back of the rim, ricocheted off the backboard, and . . . actually dropped in.
