Student Art Fair, Friday afternoon, Dorms Front Lawn

Since it was set to be a nice day, the Art Fair was laid out on the front lawn of the dorms.

When people entered, they were greeted with a selection of tissue paper flowers in colorful - mainly blue - vases. Beyond that, there was a number of displays from the various participating classes.

The Student Art Fair was open.

[OOC: Students with projects should start a subthread under their class for their project containing a description or link to a picture of their project. GOB's students should just get in place and perform for however long they want to. They are free to come and go.

Conversations in general areas should go under the General Conversation subthreads. Confusing, yes? Actual viewing and commenting on the different projects should go under the student's subthreads.

Cordelia was wandering through the exhibits when she came upon Zack's photos.

"These are kinda pretty," she said, turning to him.

"No problem," she said, as she tilted her head at him. "Hey, I remember we talked the other night, but it's all kind of fuzzy. I didn't make a total ass out of myself or anything, did I?"

"I don't think so." Zack shook his head. "I'm fuzzy on the details as well, but as far as I recall it was pleasant talking to you."

"Okay, good," Cordy said, smiling at him. "I seem to recall that too."

Zack smiled back, then blurted. "Cordeila, would you mind if I took your picture, and I don't mean that in a creepy stalker way. It's just one of our prompts this week is 'sparkily' and you have a nice smile that could be considered sparkling if you were in a descriptive mood."

Cordelia blushed briefly for a moment, before realizing that it's only natural that someone would want to take a picture of her, really.

"Of course, Zack. And thank you, I think," she said, smiling.

And of course Zack was a big enough dork to bring his camera to the art fair. "Can I take it now? Or would you prefer some later time?"

"Now is fine," Cordy said, looking a little nervous. "Do you need me to like, pose or anything?"

"Just be yourself," Zack said, with what he hoped was a reassuring grin. "You're pretty enough not to need to fake it."

Cordelia grinned at that and cleared her throat, because that seemed like the appropriate way to show that she was ready.

She looked straight at Zack and gave him a natural, and yes, perhaps sparkling, smile.

"Perfect," Zack said, before turning bright red, and starting to take the pictures.

Since she was looking right at him, Cordelia noticed Zack turning red. She kept smiling until it started just feeling unnatural, and cocked her head slightly to the side.

"Maybe modelling was my calling all along," she joked.

"You're certainly good looking enough." That red? Not going to go away anytime soon. "Especially since you've avioded the walking skeleton look, which doesn't do favours to anyone."

"You might have to specify just how far I've surpassed the skeleton look before I decide if that was a compliment or not," Cordy said, feigning anger.

Except of course, Zack may not realize it's feigned.

Zack meeped.

"I just mean you look healthy, athletic even, rather than an fortunate malnutrion victim."

Cordy laughed. "I know what you meant," she said. She didn't mean to really torture the guy, it was just kind of fun. "And thank you. I'm glad I'm not a malnutrition victim, too."

"Oh," Zack said. "It's just people seem to get the wrong idea about what I say sometimes, and I didn't mean to offend you."

"Thank you, for letting me take the pictures."
