Student Art Fair, Friday afternoon, Dorms Front Lawn

Since it was set to be a nice day, the Art Fair was laid out on the front lawn of the dorms.

When people entered, they were greeted with a selection of tissue paper flowers in colorful - mainly blue - vases. Beyond that, there was a number of displays from the various participating classes.

The Student Art Fair was open.

[OOC: Students with projects should start a subthread under their class for their project containing a description or link to a picture of their project. GOB's students should just get in place and perform for however long they want to. They are free to come and go.

Conversations in general areas should go under the General Conversation subthreads. Confusing, yes? Actual viewing and commenting on the different projects should go under the student's subthreads.

"Frisky tonight, are you?" Cedric grabs Jack's paw, shaking it gently before releasing it. "Even in your current state, you've been giving me creative ideas, you know."

Ears quivering, Jack scrambled upright and grinned at Cedric. //Oh?//

"Indeed," Cedric says and points down to his art project. "I made that while we were in sexual education. It's a collar."

Jack studied it, then looked up at Cedric, one eyebrow raised. //Collar I could get behind. In the right circumstances. That collar?// He shook his head and poked Cedric with his nose, then twisted to jump onto the table.

"We only had a small sampling of supplies to work with," Cedric explains, making sure Jack didn't actually fall off the table. "My mind, of course, went completely blank when presented with this task and this is all I could think of. It's rather good but you don't have to wear it or anything."

Jack sniffed it, sneezing at the rubbery smell, then looked up at Cedric and nudged his hand. //I'll pose next to it.// Curling his tail around his feet, he sat up perfectly straight, ears forward, looking very smug.

Cedric steps back so he can take both collar and collar inspiration in.

"You look very proud," he says, snickering. "You're very cute as well but I think you might know that."

//Of course. And no one's ever made me a collar before. Bought me one? Yes. Made me one. That's a first.// Jack yipped then jumped to the ground and twined around Cedric's legs.

"I'm glad you seem to like it," Cedric says, looking down. "The Crazy Hooker gave no indication one way or another so I take that as a good sign. Do you need anything, Jack? Food or water?"

Jack yipped and nodded, tongue lolling out as he looked up at Cedric. //Water would be good.//

"I believe that means you're thirsty?" Cedric guesses. "Am I right?"

Jack yipped and nodded, leaning heavily against Cedric's legs.

"That's close enough to a yes for me," he says. "Want me to carry you or would you like to walk?"

Jack wasn't going to pass up an opportunity. He leaned harder and looked up at Cedric with big eyes, lifting one paw to rest on his knee.

"All right," Cedric says and reaches down to scoop Jack up, nestling him comfortably in the crook of his arm. "And you'd like water. Preferences to where we should go? I know that will be difficult to answer but a general idea of the direction might help me out."

Jack looked briefly smug, then pointed his head vaguely in the direction of the dorms. //Thataway.//

Cedric looks up and pauses for a moment, thinking what could be in that direction.

"Oh, dormitories?" he says after some thought. "That makes sense. Your room?"

Jack nodded and looked up at Cedric expectantly, rubbing his head against Cedric's chest.

Heading off in that direction, Cedric reaches down to scratch Jack's head again.

"Room 215 it is," he says. "We can make sure Mr. Plant didn't forget us while we've been here."

Jack yipped in agreement and pushed his head against Cedric's hand, grinning up at him. //At this rate, you're going to need your own key.//

"I still can't believe you're a fox," Cedric says conversationally. "You don't seem to be in any pain, which was my worry, so I guess that's good. At least, I hope you're not in any pain."

//You can't believe it?// Jack nuzzled Cedric reassuringly, huffing softly. //It doesn't hurt. It's just kind of...fuzzy.//

"You seem all right," Cedric says quietly, moving further away from the art fair. "And you've been sleeping well from what I've seen when I've stayed with you."

//You've been doing that a lot.// Jack settled his head on Cedric's arm and half-closed his eyes. //Wish I'd been in the right shape to take advantage of it.//

"Your bed's quite comfortable," he says with a small laugh. Looking down, he says, "Tired already? After you get some water, should you sleep?"
