Karate, Gym, June 14th, Wednesday Morning

"Good morning, everyone," Tommy greets his class. "Sorry for not holding class last week- there was an... incident, that I had to take care of."

"Today, we're going to be learning the Meerkat style," Tommy says, and raises an eyebrow. "Yes, Meerkat. Which is, according to some of you guys, the natural enemy of the Stickbugs."

"Although the techniques of the Meerkat style can be adapted for one-on-one sparring," Tommy says as he runs through a demonstration, "they work best when you're working in concert with one or more other people. On that note, I'd like you guys to pair up, if you can, and find another pair to spar with."

"Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions."

Conner whistles softly. "That bad, huh?"

He remembers something, and in a low voice says, "Hey, Doctor O? There's a guy here who --" He taps the bracelet with his depleted Dino Gem in it -- "knows who I am. It's kind of weird."

"Carson?" Tommy says. "Zordon mentioned him. He's from the future, apparently. Weird kid."

"Yeah, him." Conner nods, then frowns a little defensively. "He's a nice guy, though."

"I haven't talked to him much," Tommy admits, "but the first time we met he asked me to judge a competition where people balanced animals on their heads."

"I don't know him much either, but that sounds like him," Conner agrees.

Then he crosses his arms and glares playfully at Tommy. "Hey. What's this I hear about you mistaking some other guy for me, anyway?"
