Library, Wednesday Afternoon

After his karate workshop, Tyler opened the library and propped his feet on the desk.

He was reading That, a novel about an evil killer spider clown in small-town Maine. The part where a bully got eaten alive by bugs was a little gory even for him.

The library is open.

"There are monitors and DVD players along that wall," Tyler pointed, "But I have to pull the disc for you. Any specific story or date that you want?"

"September 11th." Tim said. "Veronica said there'd probably be books about it too, or info online, which i'm not quite saavy at yet so I'm starting with AV stuff."

Tyler raised his eyebrows. "In the mood for some light entertainment? We might have one or two things about that. Hang on," he allowed, and disappeared into the storage room behind the counter.

He came out with a DVD. "This has highlights from the day's news coverage from NBC, ABC, CBS, the BBC and Fox News and MSNBC. Should answer whatever questions you have."

A while later, Tim returned with a haunted look, dropped the disc off at the desk. "Thanks." he mumbled.

"It's my job," Tyler shrugged.

He appraised Tim speculatively. "The footage is pretty gruesome. You okay?"

"Gruesome yeah." tim said. "I'm, no I'm not. Was this before or after your time? Cause I'm from the early 90's."

"I'm from now," Tyler said curtly. "I was 10."

He weighed the CD in his palm. "Anything else you need?"
