Sairis had a book with him, so when the instructors didn't show immediately, he shrugged and started reading.

And got thoroughly engrossed until he realized it was far after time for class to be over, at which point he left.

But he didn't have anywhere else to be, so he'd be here.

Quinn had definitely been in classes where someone declared the "fifteen minute rule".

She'd never been in a class where the teacher actually didn't show, though. So somewhere around minute 17, she was looking around, wondering if anyone was going to announce the rule and clear out.

If no one else was going to . . . well, she'd give them until 20 minutes. After that, she had quality disassociating she could be doing in her own room, okay?
