Wilderness Survival - Week 3| Thursday Morning, A Clearing in the Woods

Callisto pointed to the lockbox. "Shoes."

Once she had everyone's shoes, she started walking out of the clearing. "Follow."

Then she took them on a little scenic walk.

With lots of lovely terrain, like mud, sand, rocks, dense undergrowth, a small pond or three.

And lets not forget the ever present pudding rain.

When they finally reached the end of the walking trail, she turned around to face the class.

"Dismissed."

Joxer folds his arms. "Excuse me? You're forgetting something."

He tapped his muddy, sore foot.

"Yeah, I'm gonna need my boots back," Joxer said. "That's definitely something."

[ooc: SP okay? I gotta run to work, woe.]

"The easiest way from point A to point B involves not following you?" Joxer replied.

"Is that so, huh?" Joxer put his hands on his hips. "That's thieving. Nobody said anything about having to deal with bratty blonde thieves as teachers."

"So are you gonna open that box, or am I going to have to take those keys by force?" Joxer popped his neck and tried to look menacing.

Tried.

[ooc: Feel free to hit him, give him detention, whatever.]

Joxer's mouth open and closed a few times. But his faux courage wasn't up to actually standing up to Callisto.

He grumbled and walked off.

...He wondered what life would be like without footwear. Since he didn't have a second pair.

Cameron's feet were sore and this walk was a bit... excessive. He looked expectantly at Callisto.

He tilted his head. "Boots, please? Or is there something else we need to do to get them back?"

"Stamina? Endurance? Don't count on having your boots on when you get stranded somewhere and have to take a really long nature hike while it's raining pudding?" Cameron tried.

"Okay, how about you shouldn't blindly follow orders from someone who's in a bad mood and trying to give you blisters because there's no real point to what she's making you do?" Cameron pretty much expected to get clubbed right now.

Catching the keys, Cameron really wished he's said something before his feet got sore. He didn't however move to get his boots back just yet. "Are you alright?" he asked, lowering his voice.

"Yeah, you sound it," he sighed and palmed the keys. "You probably don't want to hear this and I'll shut up in a second, but if something's wrong... there's people here who care. We'll listen if you want to talk and trust me, I've had enough trouble this week because I kept things bottled up."

"I was going to apologize for the family emergency that kept me out of the workshop last week," said Janet. "However, I'm strongly reconsidering that." She ached. She was bruised. She thought longingly of a hot shower and shampoo to get the scent of figgy pudding out of her hair.

OOC: Feel free to just have Cal ignore Janet if you don't have time to play. :) Or feel free to have her flip out at Janet for no good reason whatsoever.
