"Hello." Jon sighed. "I will freely admit this is another instance of 'the moose decides Mr. Sims needs to teach something ridiculous'. At least it's not tea again. I suppose I'll be getting together focusing techniques and such in the future, but conveniently, the first day is generally for introductions, and since we're the first class, you can't even have gotten sick of them yet."

He gestured. "So, just in case you don't know each other, let's do introductions. I am Jonathan Sims, he/him. I am from England in the present day. I've been teaching here for a few years, and generally enjoying it despite the moose's best attempts. Now you." He gestured at the first student.

"Also Henry," Henry spoke up. "Should be easy enough to tell us apart, especially since I use she/her pronouns. I'm from- Barcelona." She was not. "This time, more or less," she added, making a so-so motion with one hand. "I'm here because... why the fuck not, right?"

"As good a reason as any, really," Jon said. "I'm curious what Barcelona's like." Yes, Henry, he knew that wasn't the truth. He wasn't going to outright accuse you of lying, but he would give you a chance to change your answer.

She'd come to Fandom from Barcelona, so it wasn't a complete untruth. But she also knew perfectly well what Jon had meant with the question.

"Crowded," she shrugged. "Nice beaches, though. Good clubs. Great food."

"I've never been," Jon said. "Right about now, a sunny beach sounds lovely, though." Winter was terrible.
