Clockwork workshop, lesson 3
“Alright guys. Now that you have figured out what your clocks will look like, please show me what you have.”
She gestured to some blueprints she had pinned to the wall. They were for a very simple coo-coo clock.
“That is what I will be making.” She smiled. “Now, before we begin building the internal mechanism, we need to understand exactly what all the inner bits do.”
She pulled out one by one and demonstrated the functionality of gears, clockwork, and springs.
“You can play with these for today, but I want you to really really understand what they do. For next week, I want you to find 3 objects on this island that use any or all of these mechanisms in their workings. Don’t bring me a clock though, that is cheating.”
