You know the thing about having such large and cavernous ears is that you hear better.

So when Ranma screamed almost directly into her ear it was something of a surprise. A surprisingly painful surprise. One which caused Pippi to yowl in said surprise and drop Ranma so she could cover her ears.

Ranma drops to the floor and scitters up the stairs to his room on all fours to get away faster.

The fur on Pippi's tail is all fluffed out, making it look twice the size it was previously. Her ears are swivled back and flat against her hair.

"Ow." she whines quitely holding both sides of her head.
