Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

Jack grinned at her and accepted the drink, taking a long slow sip before handing it back. "It's not that I'm irresistible," he said, licking his lips. "It's just that you can't resist me."

Parker rolled her eyes, and elbowed him sharply in the side. "Watch me, smartass. Go seduce a willing person of either gender. Let me know how that goes."

Jack tipped his head to the side and smiled happily. "What makes you think I haven't already?"

Parker studied him, then smirked. "You're not *quite* relaxed enough. If it'd been in the last four hours, you'd be looser. And I know where you were until noon, so...."

Jack laughed uproariously. "You know me far too well, Parker. Just promise you'll never use your powers against me."

Parker's face darkened for a second, then cleared. "I promise," she said, her voice light. "Until and unless you try to conquer the universe. Without giving me a cut."

Jack saw it, the flash of darkness, and mentally kicked himself. "You know me," he said, voice light, putting a careful hand on her back. "Conquering the universe would be far too much effort. You'd have to conquer it, and point me at whoever you needed seduced along the way."

Parker leaned into the hand on her back even as she concentrated on sipping her drink. "Got that right. World domination, here I come. And you can be one of my not-so-secret weapons." Her next smile was much brighter and more unforced. "Threat and bribe, Jack Harkness, Super Seducer. Fear me, world. Or I'll have Jack kiss you to death."

Jack abruptly stood, twisting to kneel on one knee in front of her, head bowed over his bent arm. "And I'm yours to command," he said, eyes steady, voice serious. A smile snuck out and his eyes started to twinkle. "Especially if you want me to seduce people."

Parker cocked one eyebrow at him, then leaned forward, voice breathy, to say, "Well, if you feel that way about it--"

And pushed him over.

"--why are you still here? Go! Off! Seduce kiss tickle fondle destroy, my minion!"
