Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

"Well it's been pretty flexible for a while now, ever since the Fae returned to my world. But it never hurts to keep it Flexible. They were starting to seem normal anyway."

"These things happen," Peter said. "First Fae, next thing you know you're fighting with centaurs and fauns and hearing about evil polar bears."

"None of those yet." tim said. "Though it wouldn't surprise me. You've dealt with Centaurs and Fauns?"

"Britain," Peter replied. "By way of another world that's a bit like our Middle Ages."

"So the centaurs and Fauns are in that other world? Is it called the Leeside by any chance?"

"Leeside? Like out of the wind? Definitely not," Peter said with a smile. "Why do you ask?"

Is that what Leeside meant? Strange, if they called the Leeside the cold lands...

"The leeside was the world the Fae were banished to when people stopped believing in them." tim said. "when me and a friend went there her clothes changed to a medieval style dress."

"Like Peter Pan then? Clap your hands and all that? Only no clapping; therefore banishment? Harsh world," Peter said. "How did you end up there?"

Tim nodded. "Yeah, but they're coming back, so I guess someone's clapping."
