Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that

fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

Seras frowned.

"Then why can't I..." she paused, searching for the word, "Y'know," she finally said, waving her arm in an immitation of Pippi's hip movements.

"Okay!" Pippi said, "I got it!"

She managed to get herself strait, she put her fists on her hip bones.

"Okay okay... Do this... An pretend... That you're a car..."

Somewhere in Seras' head, a switch flicked on...her movements became more certain...

"What...what kind've car?" she asked.

Almost had it...

Almost..

"... Volvo." Pippi said... "Or whatever you want. Now yer hips are the headlights... An ya gotta keep 'em on the road! But ya got a busted suspension, so yer shakin' wit the bumps inna road."

She demonstrated.

"And you can go faster... See?"

Volvo...hm...Well, if she was gonna visualize, why not go all out? Seras pretended that she was a Jag and set her headlights to bumping down the road.

She giggled, as she shifted her 'car' up into the next gear.

"'S Fun!" she called out, laughing

Pippi decides that whatever Seras' car is, it's better then a Volvo...

So two E type jags are now dancing their hearts out and trying no to spill their drinks.

Pip watched Pippi and Seras gyrating with interest. Slightly drunkent interest, but interest none the less.

Seras spun around, adding her own ~~drunken~~ improvisations to the dance.

She was less successful in not spilling her drink, however. Seras slipped in the spill and skidded onto her E type butt.

The world was very spinney...

Pippi smiled at him and crooked a finger like she'd seen her "babysitters" do sometimes.

The she noticed Seras on the ground

"Oops! You got a little fender bender there." she said holding out a hand.

"Ouch," said Seras, taking Pippi's hand and trying to stand, "My fender is indeed bent."

Her feet skidded on the ground as she tried to pull herself up.

Eep! Slippy!

"Ooops. You alright, Seras?" Pip asked, coming over to help her up.

Seras blinked and looked up at Pip from her spot on the ground.

Her keen skills of observation told her there was something different about him.

She narrowed her eyes as she tried to deduce what it was.

Ah hah!

"You're not wearing a shirt!" she announced, pointing at him.

"You will make an excellent po-leese ossifer." Pippi says trying to pull Seras up without slipping herself.

"Yer very observent!"

Pip looked down as if noting it for the first time. "So I'm not," he said. "Need any assistance?"

Seras clapped her hand to her mouth and shook her head.

"Pippi! Someone's stolen Pip's shirt! We have to help him!"

Pippi is pretty much standing there holding Seras' hand and regarding shirtless Pip with dilating eyes.

"We do?"

Seras nodded.

"Yes. Yes. Theft of shirts is against the law. It's illegal. Pip needs police aid. We must recover his stolen property."

Pippi is pretty sure that, as a pirate, it's pretty much her job to recover stolen property... But not for the purpose of giving it back to the person from whom it was first stolen...

But she was nothing if not a supportable friend.

"Kay!" she said and leaned back to try and pull Seras to her feet... She may be leaning back farther then she needs... Like forty-five degree angle far. Oddly, she doesn't fall...

Yet.

Seras was still clinging to Pippi's hand and trying to stand on the slippy, slippy ground.

"When was the last time you saw your shirt, Pip?" she asked, "And did you notice any...suspicious characters in the vinicity..vitinicy...area?"

Pip stepped over and put his hands on the small of Pippi and Seras' backs to steady them. "The last time I saw my shirt was in the cabin. And the most suspicious character around was me, but they're might have been some other people in my blind spot."

Pippi squinted at him.

"Can you describe these suspicious peoples in your blind spot?"

"No. They wer' in my blind spot, ya see? And I couldn't see them because of..." Pip trailed off into French.

"Ya don't say?" Pippi said gravely and nodding again.
