Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

Aeryn pauses. "It could be interpreted that you just turned this around so that you're helping me," she informs him.

"Would I do that?" he asked innocently.

"Are you sure?" he asked, ramping up the innocence and throwing in puppy dog eyes for good measure.

"I surrender." He grinned at her. "You're too much for me, Aeryn."

"I didn't think that needed to be said anymore," she shrugs. "Also, not for a week."

"True. I'll just take it as read that the threat of shooting always lurks in the background. But not for a week." He thought about that for a minute. "Which means this week could be very interesting."

"Do anything that warrants shooting, and when time's up you'll be shot twice," she informs him. Yes, they're kind of going in circles, but it's almost entertaining. Maybe she just really likes threatening people.

"isn't this where we came in?" Jack shook his head, chortling. "I won't do anything warranting shooting, thus you won't get expelled. I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

"Don't get too ahead of yourself," she says, but he did get a week without shooting threats. That's something.
