Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening
The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. "It's very pineappley."
Re: Main campfire
Realizing what that could have sounded like, Tempe was quick to correct herself. "Um. Because of the forensic anthropology, I mean. Not because I want to look at your skeletons."
A pause, and then "That sounded bad. Maybe I should just stop talking." Or possibly spike this drink, so at least I'd have an excuse for the complete idiot I'm making out of myself.
"Yeah," she continued, looking at her drink. "Must be made with real pineapples and everything."
