Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that

Tightening his hand, he drew Cedric closer, opening his mouth to touch his tongue gently to Cedric's lips.

Cedric makes a low sound in his throat and moves both hands to cup Jack's cheek, enjoying the feel of his skin and the taste and really fading out everything else around them.

Campfire? What campfire. People? What people.

It had been a very long time since he'd lost himself so completely in someone. Every sense was focused on Cedric, on kissing him, touching him, and it was only with a supreme exercise of will that he pulled away, gliding one hand down Cedric's back.

Cedric actually has to catch his breath. When he finally does, he keeps his hands on Jack's face and smiles at him.

"We always seem to be in semi public places when we do this," he says, a quiet laugh slipping out.

Jack breathing was a touch irregular, but he grinned at Cedric. "You're just irresistible."

"Am I?" But, he does blush a little, not quite used to compliments like that. "That was...really bloody good."

Jack smile softened and he touched a finger to Cedric's lips. "You are. I'm entirely unable to resist you. And yes, it was."

"Hm." He blushes again but doesn't look away. "Next time, not a public place, agreed? Or, if we are in a public place, people are just going to have to be an audience or something."

Jack trailed a finger across his cheek, tracing the path of the blush. "No, not a public place. I don't want to share you."

Cedric smiles, clearly happy with that answer. "No public place then. You and me and no one else."

"Just us." Jack nodded. "I may have to reconsider my plans for Sunday, although at that hour, I doubt there'll be anyone else around."

"I can magic them away," Cedric mock threatens. "Or not. We'll find a way."

"If it's raining, the plans will change," Jack explained. "So we'll end up inside, away from everyone." He settled himself comfortably against Cedric. "You'd use your magic for my benefit?"

"Inside's good too," Cedric says, settling more comfortably himself. "And I would. Of course, I'm not fully trained so I might end up turning random things into cheese but I'd give it a try!"

"That's okay. I like cheese." Jack flashed Cedric a grin. "Whatever we end up doing on Sunday, it's going to be fun. With or without cheese."

"It'll be fun," Cedric agrees and kisses Jack once more. "I know it."
