Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

"Woods and forests are in the habit of being rather interesting, I find. I'm not sure that they would know how to be anything else." Luna took a slice from the offered orange. "I don't believe I've heard of a... 'Will o the Wisp' did you say? Is that something only found here in the States?"

"Hmm, no they've got their roots in Gaelic and Slavic cultures." tim said. yay wikapedia "It's this, ghostly light that appears in the forests and leads travelers astray. i think it might even have switched the path around on me. I don't think it liked that I knew what it was and wouldn't follow it off the trail."

Tim blinked. "I've never heard that name for them before." Will o' The Wisp sounded cooler anyway.
