Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

"Oh great and merciful flying spaghetti-monster, I hope not." Xander shook his head, as emphatically as he possibly could. "Usually these things wear off, except for when Ms. Skeeter was zapping people, and Bridge wasn't zapped."

"Is people turning into animals a common thing around here?" Jack peered at Bridge-ferret closely. "It kinda still looks like him though. Around the eyes."

"John Crichton used to get turned into some new animal every time he went to journalism class," Xander said. "But that was the zappy witch lady. The spontaneous thing's not quite so common. Logan was a rabbit, and Barbossa turned into a parrot once, I think. A couple of people have been cats."

Xander snapped his fingers. "And Cam Mitchell turned into some kind of wolf puppy; I always forget that for some reason."

Jack grinned at him. "Well, okay, fair point. But at least I stay the same shape from one day to the next."

Xander snickered. "Well yeah. I mostly do too. I was a newt for about five minutes, but I got better."

Xander nodded. "It was, in fact, a witch. Though some people would argue you could spell that with a b in her case. She's the one who told everyone about Isabel being an alien, on the radio."
