Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that

"Reintroductions are turning out to be one of my favourite things about coming back." Jack held out a hand. "Jack Harkness at your service."

Cally shook Jack's hand. "Well, since you don't remember, I guess I'll give you the full name. I'm actually Veruca Cally. But don't you dare call me Veruca. Like, ever."

"I will forget you ever told me," Jack said solemnly as he took her hand. "But such a gesture of trust deserves something more than a handshake." He lifted her hand and kissed it.

Cally smiles widely. "You charmer, you. How much did you forget, anyways?"

"Why thank you." Jack grinned as he released her hand. "The whole school. I don't remember ever being here. Doing my best to make up for lost time, though."

"So you don't even remember that night... you and me, in the closet on the third floor of the dorms?" Cally was keeping a straight face. Amazingly.

"Sadly, I don't." Eyes gleaming, Jack tipped his head to look at her. "Be happy to repeat the experience, though."

"I think Anders might get a little upset if that happened," Cally said. "Sadly, I'm claimed territory."

"That is a terrible shame. I don't know if I'll ever recover." Jack grinned up at her. "But you'll keep me in mind if that ever changes, right?"

"Oh, you bet the gods I will," Cally said. She bit her lip. "Sorry to have kinda led you on, there."

Jack tipped his head back and laughed. "Oh Cally, you didn't. Don't worry about it. I think my heart can take it, especially knowing that I'm on your list of potentials."

"Well, I'm glad that softens the blow," Cally said. "So, are you adjusting well to things again? And more importantly, do you still have the legos?"

"I'm doing well. And you're the second person to mention Legos to me. It must have been a bit of an obsession, huh?"

"I guess," Cally said. "I mean, I was right with you with the whole lego building thing. So it's not like I can judge you for it."

"No, I'm intrigued. I haven't found them yet, but Sam said I used to have a whole collection. If I find them, you'll have to come and show me how they work."

"Well, they're little plastic bricks," Cally said. "It's not like there's a secret trick to them or anything."

"But this is Fandom High. There might be a trick to them." He gave her a sad look. "You don't want to come and play with me?"

"Hey, I'll totally play with you," Cally said. "I wasn't saying I wouldn't, not at all. Any time, we can play together."

Jack fought back a smirk. "Good," he said, entirely innocently. "Once I find them, I'll grab you and we can play."

"Well, I'm in room #201, if you can remember that," Cally teased. "Stop by any time. Oh, and I'm in the Pangolin cabin, too."

"Room 201. Pangolin Cabin. Gotcha, Cally," he said, smiling widely. "I'll have to make finding those legos a priority now."

Cally blushed again. "Well, let me know, okay? But I better go find where my boy ran off to. He might... do things if he's left alone too long."

"Yup. See ya, Cally." He lifted a hand in farewell. "It was good to meet you again."

"The pleasure was all mine," Cally said, before standing up and wandering off.
