Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that [livejournal.com profile] fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

Jay and Silent Bob loved crashing parties.

Luau? They were so there.

Jay was by the food and Bob danced his way over toward his little redheaded friend. The music wasn't quite the Time, but it was still pretty good.

Pippi's grass skirt rustles as she bounces and shakes around the dance area with Blair in the traditional islander style.

"Hi Bob!"

Bob grinned and waved and tried not to think about all that bouncing and shaking in the context of Pippi.

Although she did have some nice moves. Which he attempted to duplicate, only with a little more eighties thrown in.

Pippi slowed down her dance moves so Bob could follow more easily.

Silent Bob appreciated it. He flashed her a grin and a thumbs up and was soon dancing along, moving surprisingly gracefully for being, well, Silent Bob.

"I forgot to ask you in class." Pippi said to Bob as she looked him in the eye and shook her hips. "Do we have to take all the footage ourselves, or can we use archival footage from other sources?"

Bob was very gratefully she was looking him the eye because eep, hip-shaking. Which generally led to bootie-shaking, which was like kryptonite to these boys.

He nodded in response to her question, making a gesture to indicate that this would be covered in the next workshop.

Nadia waved to Silent Bob as she continued dancing.

Bob waved back cheerfully as always.
