Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

"Hey, Pippi. It went fine. I saw that you and Archie were having fun." She grinned, then looked askance toward the fire, then back to Pippi. "Nice outfit?

"Oh thank you!" Pippi turned for her, making the long grass skirt flair out a bit. "It's from the South Sea Island where we live sometimes."

"Caaareful." Parker shoo'd at Pippi, trying to herd her a couple steps away from the fire. "Last thing we need is a Pippi flambe'."

Pippi tilted her head at the shoo'ing motion and glanced at the fire.

"I'm okay," she said laughing, "It's not like I'm doused in petrol!"
