Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that fh_weather is reporting. Yes, I'm modding the weather. Admin privilege.]

Then . . . this could be it. The momentous occasion that folks have been waiting for. Artie and the Tick could potentially actually meet!

Though now I'm suddenly thinking it would be funnier if they never, ever did. . . .

It'd be beautiful, the Tick and Artie in the same place at the same time, and yet, somehow, their paths just never cross. . . .

For if they did, the critical wacky superhero mass would rip a hole in the fabric of space and time, sending a wave of wacky superhero energy hurtling across the dimensions, until everyone in the entire multiverse has been spontaneously transformed into a wacky superhero . . . .

At which point, the multiverse would implode.

and we would be sad.
