Fandom Library, Wednesday, June 11th

The library was decorated for Halloween. Why? Arden had absolutely no idea. She'd just walked in and there had been jack o'lanterns, crepe paper bats, and cotton batting webs everywhere. Two twelve foot high skeletons were dressed up (one was a wizard in a blue robe and hat spangled with stars, and the other was a pirate) and standing behind the circulation desk.

You know. Where she was supposed to be.

"I'm so not asking," Arden said, with a shake of her head as she sat at one of the tables nearby. "I'm just going to be over here."

Hopefully nobody needed to be checked out. But she wasn't going to get involved with whatever was going on here.

"You were a forest? What was that like? Was it weird?" He bet it was weird. More importantly, "Did Raiden make you waffles? He makes the best waffles." It was known.

"That sounds exhausting," Gray sighed. But a lot of things sounded exhausting when you were Sloth. Maybe to some people being a forest would be like a nice break.

"You should encourage him to put more waffles on the menu," Gray told Arden. "I'm not convinced there are gonna be enough."

Heresy. "I mean, pumpkin waffles would be kind of weird in June," Gray mused, however reluctantly. "Except for in here today."

It wasn't Gray's fault other people were flawed. "You're supposed to be less reasonable," he grumbled.
