Photography Workshop - Journalism Classroom [5/31]

Veronica was waiting in the front of the journalism classroom for all of her students. She had come in early and prepped the darkroom.

Once everyone had arrived and was seated, she smiled.

"Good morning guys. There is coffee, but if you want some, you need to have it now, because there will be no food or drink allowed in the dark room."

She passed out and went over a handout detailing the developing process, along with the safety rules she expected them to follow in the darkroom.

"Most importantly," she concluded. "If you have any questions related to the film developing process, do not hesitate to ask."

[please to be waiting for the ocd has been accomplished!]

Cameron was staring down at the instructions and seriously wondering why the fates had put him in this class anyway. Taking pictures, he could manage. Maybe. This? Completely insane.

Bel looked warily at the chemicals involved, then worked on developing his photos: blue, earth, and leaves. He seemed pleased with his results.

Mixing the chemicals carefully, Zack started developing his film.

Nadia followed the instructions on mixing the chemicals carefully. Well, as carefully as one could when reading in the dark room. She started developing her picture for blue and earth and leaves, hoping at least one came out properly.

Buffy was deeply focused on her job, as she wanted her photos to come out perfect. After going alternately too dark and too light and too red on several of her images, she finally got her class project done. There were leaves (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/pic/0007drsb/g13), blue (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/pic/0007f3rg/g13) and a camp fire (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/pic/0007ecg8/g13) and a plate with smores on (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/pic/0007gkr0/g13) to represent earth.

School work done, she went on to the real fun; Developing her roll of boykissy (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/gallery/0000e6ec) pictures.

"Yay boykissy," Jaye greets her.

Jaye had actually handwavily taken her pictures yesterday, mostly of random stuff. A coffee cup for blue, a globe keychain for earth, and some random Canada shot glass for leaf. Because you don't live that close to the Canadian border without stopping in a gift shop every now and then.

Now she's just trying not to ruin them.

Elizabeth stuck her tongue out in concentration as she mixed the chemicals together to develop a close up of fallen leaves (http://notcalledlizzie.livejournal.com/23312.html?thread=755984#t755984), a close up of Sam's eye (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/613411.html?thread=36730403#t36730403) and a *handwavey* photo of a wee!tiny rabbit burrow she'd found. There was also a picture of Janet (http://notcalledlizzie.livejournal.com/23312.html?thread=747280#t747280) in their cabin.

"Swinging in the rain," Cameron nodded as if this was the obvious reply to a puzzle.

Buffy gave him a puzzled look. "Singing in the rain?"

While Zack only displayed the one photo each for earth (http://pics.livejournal.com/twohalvesofaphd/pic/00005qb0/) and leaves (http://pics.livejournal.com/twohalvesofaphd/pic/00006xhz/), he had nearly a whole reel for blue (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/607735.html?thread=35930615#t35930615).
