Summer Shenanigans [Wednesday mid-morning]

Everyone was back in the park today, with several stations set up around the area: one with buckets suspended in the air with numbers hanging from them, one with six tables covering up lumpy objects with checked tablecloths, and most intriguingly/disturbingly, a waffle iron on a stool in the center of a red circular rug.

"Welcome to Shenanigans!" Anakin announced. "Today you will be working in small groups today as you make your way around a variety of team building activities! Listen for your names!"

Lost distance waffle making!

At least there's no slime?

There's a plugged in waffle iron in the center of a red carpet circle roughly four feet around. Next to the circle is a bowl filled with waffle batter, a ladle, and a block of butter, plus a plate. There is also a small shed filled with clear plastic tubing, hoses, duct tape, children's tricycles, a wheelbarrow, and other moddable garden and outdoor toys.

"Listen carefully," Anakin said. "Fry a waffle in the waffle iron and present it to me on the plate. You cannot step onto the red carpet. Best looking waffle wins."

"A-ha!" Look, it was probably best not to ask how Aphra had found a small drone buried under all that garden junk, just accept that she was the kind of person whose luck swung between wild extremes. "I present...Wafflebot!"

"It makes waffles?" Stark asked. "I was wondering if we could be on the carpet but not stepping on it. Sitting, or kneeling. Or have someone sit on the wheelbarrow and push them... but a drone is good!"

"I really don't care, so long as we're not getting waffle batter dumped on us," Jon agreed. "A drone is good."

Luma was, for a moment, looking at this activity like she couldn't believe this was actually something she was expected to be doing, but then a glance over at Eleanor and her team made her want to ensure that they actually did do it.

"He said no stepping on the carpet," she noted, "so clearly the tricycle can come into play here, but," she took a moment to consider how she was substantially the smallest of her team, "I don't know how to use that waffle iron thing. I could still ride the tricycle out to make one, though, unless anyone has any other ideas."

She was really hoping either of them had better ideas.

"It's better than my initial thought of asking Thor to throw you onto the tiny, tiny table," Steve admitted.

Hannibal nodded and headed for the shed. "All we need is a rake," he proclaimed. With that, he could wedge the tools and lift them. He could cook with anything.

Lana eyed the things.

"He hasn't said no powers." She could use the Force to make waffles, surely.

"I can use the Force to levitate things," Lana said. "Though I've never made waffles before. Do you know how?"

"You just pour the batter in," Steve said. "I don't know what the butter is for."

"Probably just for after, though syrup would be nice. Right, here goes."

Lana picked up a ladle full of batter, opened the waffle iron, and poured it in. This could not end badly.
