Writing Workshop - 5/30 - Journalism Classroom - Tuesday Morning
Chloe was grinning as everyone came into the classroom, looking as though she'd had a very good weekend.
"Hey everyone! Welcome back. I'm glad to see you all survived the first week, and decided to come back." She may have given Cameron and Janet a special smile there. "So, last week we talked about writing biographies. This week, we're going to be flipping a bit and talking about obituaries. Sadly, everyone has to die someday - at least, they do where I come from."
"What I want you to do today is write an obituary, either for yourself, or for someone else." Chloe smirked. "Feel free to write about someone who you wish was dead, because I certainly won't hold that against you."

Turn In Your Assignment
Re: Turn In Your Assignment
1. Cameron Mitchell, mighty Stickbug brother, was killed in action in a dogfight over the planes of Antarctica in service of the U.S. Air Force. He was thirty-three years old and was born in Memphis. He went to high school at Fandom High where he formed a life long allegiance with his Stickbug cabin mates to whom he was loyal even in death.
2. The Meerkat Cabin died a mysterious death one summer evening. When all its occupants were celebrating life, the cabin was set to flames and was never rebuilt. No one knows the age of the Meerkat cabin, that is a secret she will take with her into the great beyond. While its occupants are sorry for their loss, their Stickbug neighbours have been heard to say that they are ‘relieved to be rid of the fowl smell’.
