Archery Workshop #2, 5/30, Danger Shop, Afternoon
The Danger Shop is set up like an outdoor archery field this week, with fifteen targets, fifteen bows, and fifteen quivers of arrows. The arrows, the students will find, are tipped with suction cups. Off to one side is Miho, lounging in a lawn chair with an umbrella. On the table next to it is the sign-in sheet. An incongruous freestanding blackboard is set up next to her, with the words Beginning Archery. Shoot the targets. Leave when you are done. written on it.
Miho gets up, takes up her own bow and a suction cup arrow, and demonstrates for the class by shooting at the first target in the line. Bullseye. Then she returns to her seat, picks up her glass of lemonade, and watches for any errors in form she'll need to correct.

Re: Shoot Things
(thanks so much, weird Disney broadcasting standards regarding fired projectiles)but everybody else was giving them weird looks, so he did too. Just because it seemed like the thing to do.He'd always been more of a melee weapon type of guy, except for that whole laser sidearm thing
(again, thanks, Disney broadcasting standards)so this kind of fine-motor-skill precision was new. Not to mention the fact that this was going to be something he was learning for himself, and not a magically-granted ability. So he was a little hesitant as he nocked the arrow and drew back the bowstring for the first shot.It went wide of the mark, though he had to admit that nicking the edge of the target with the fletching as the arrow went past wasn't too bad, all things considered.
He tried a second shot, this time paying closer attention to the feel of the bowstring's tension and making sure to keep his fingers out of the way; he hit the edge of the target this time. Successive shots never quite hit close to the bullseye, but all things considered, most of them ended up around the middle of the target, which wasn't terrible.
Plus, his fingers were unscathed. This was a good thing.
