"How's it hangin', bra?" Jude greeted her mellowly, sliding into a seat with a plate of mecurunee und cheese-a.

Pippi contemplates for a brief moment what Jude is asking and comes up with an answer.

"I'm very well, and yourself?"

"I'm groovy," Jude grinned at her before prodding at his food with a bit of a concerned look on his face.

"Is something wrong?"

"Walter-dude told me to be careful of the food," he explained, before shrugging. "Looks alright to me."

"Oh that." Pippi said digging into her own pile of mecurunee. "That's something people kept telling us when we arrived. That the food would do odd things to you... Like make you sing Abba songs... Which I don't see much of a problem with myself." Said the Swedish Pirate.

"But we've been eating the Chef's food since we got here more or less and I've not seen anything odd in the Caf... Except that one day with the weasels."

"I heard they were lemurs . . ." Jude shovelled a heaping forkful into his mouth and chewed thoughtfully before swallowing. "Tastes fine." So he set about digging in in true teenage boy fashion - as if he'll never have another meal again.

"Oh that's right... They were lemurs... How silly of me." she popped open a soda. "So, what's on tap for today for you?"

Jude shrugged. "Nothin', really. No workshops or anything, so I was just going to relax. Maybe read."

"Oh that sounds nice and peaceful." Pippi said. "I have another workshop today and then I have to go into town."

"Oh, what workshop?" Jude foolishly decides to take a drink at this point.

"Sex Ed." Pippi said, not paying attention to any possible imbibing of tasty beverages.

Ow. And that was pop through his nose. Ow ow ow . . . Jude coughed a few times from the fizz and began mopping up the pop, his eyes watering a bit. "C-cool," he managed to say.

Pippi looks slightly alarmed and waits for Jude to start calling her "Fernando"...

"Fine, bra, just fine," Jude squeaked. Hmmm, macaroni. It wasn't KD, but it was good enough.
