"Since some of you mentioned being friendless and alone last week--" Not one of them had put it like that, Anakin, "--we've decided to facilitate you making friends here in this class!"

"And we thought we'd take a cue from one of the island traditions." Ahsoka had what looked suspiciously like a seating chart. A seating chart that someone had put a lightsaber through. Several times.

"Three Minute Dates," Anakin agreed. "But this time you don't have Tino to blame. In case you don't know how to start with small talk, I have prepared three talking points: 'My favorite color is,' 'I hate the winter because,' and 'Anakin Skywalker is the best teacher for this reason.'"

He beamed at Ahsoka. "It's helpful!" It wasn't.

Ahsoka cheerfully did not offer an opinion on Anakin's helpfulness or lack thereof. "We'll be doing things a bit more free-form." Seating chart. Lightsaber burns. Organising this had seemed a lot simpler when they'd come up with this idea. "More three minute mingling, talk with someone, when the chime sounds, find someone new. If you find yourself gravitating towards certain people, that's probably a sign."

Anakin nodded like he had the first idea what it would be a sign of. "Let's get started."

And that was why Ahsoka had more friends than you, Anakin.

Oh, you know Graham was stoked about this! He might even be taking a moment to try to triangulate the best plan for making the most friends (or at least talking to everyone)!

"Hello there, random person who might become a new friend!" Charlie said cheerfully. "Might I ask what your favorite adventure might be?"

"Well, hello to you, as well," Graham chuckled, beaming as he ducked his head and lifted his hat cordially in greeting, "fellow random person who might become a new friend! And I don't know if I could possibly choose a favorite, but some of the best ones almost always involve my very good friend Charlie! What are you? Do you have a favorite?"

"Well I'd say most of them involve my very good friend, Graham, but I'd have to say," she said after a bit of consideration. "The ones that can combine music and laughter and perhaps a prank or two are the most fun."

"Zounds!" Graham said, having to laugh a little at his own clearly wide-eyed and innocent reaction to that answer. "Those do sound like a real winning combination! You know what I think we should do? We should take a page out of my friend Charlie and your friend Graham's books and go have an adventure with all those things for ourselves!"

"I think you're absolutely right!" Charlie said with a huge grin. "We absolutely need to have an adventure just like that. And soon!"

"I absolutely couldn't agree more!" said Graham, and he swung an enthusiastic finger up in the air. "Arrrre you doing anything after work today?"

Look at that! Not even three minutes yet, and they'd already made a 'new' friend and were making adventuring plans! They were amazing at Friendship!

"In fact, I do not have plans for after work today," Charlie said, eyes wide as if with surprise. "Did you perhaps want to have an adventure?"
