Let's Play Some Sports!; Thursday, First Period [01/09].
"Hey, everyone," said Gladio, giving the class a nod once they gathered in the danger shop, which was set up like an outdoor sort of stadium, and taking a moment to roll his shoulders, stretch his arms, as if preparing for a long session of physical activity, even if he'd mostly just be there in the coaching position, "and welcome to Let's Play Some Sports. Where we're going to be...you guessed it...play some sports."
He grinned, because that sort of subtle comedy was the humor he really strived for.
"So today's class is going to focus on a sport that has a lot of little sports in it to give me an idea of your strengths and weakness and what you seem to enjoy or really not enjoy at all, and that's Track and Field. But before we get into that, let's get those introductions out of the way. Go ahead and tell me who you are, whether you wanted to be in this class or not," that, he said with a faint wry snort and a grin, "and what your favorite sport is, if you have one, and why. And if you don't have one, tell me why not, too. That'll help me decide what else we're going to explore in this class further down the line.
"So let's get warmed up and stretching while we do that," he said, now crossing one arm over his chest and pulling it close with the other, then switching arms, "so when we're finished, we can mostly get right into it."
