Archery Workshop #1, 5/23, Danger Shop, Afternoon

As the students entered the Danger Shop, set up like a standard classroom for today, they were greeted by a diminutive, black-and-white Japanese girl in a silk robe, perched on a corner of the teacher's desk munching on a chocolate chip cookie. Next to her were a stack of handouts, a sign-in sheet, and a tray of assorted cookies from Jeff, God of Biscuits.

Written on the board behind the desk was, Sign in. Take a handout and a cookie. Direct any questions to the instructor. Behave. Or else.

Miho studied her students with a critical eye, trying to determine which of them were most likely to shoot one of their classmates by accident or try to take more than one cookie.

Bel signed in and took a handout, looking around to see who else was taking the class. He grabbed a cookie as he walked away from the desk.

Janet signed in, took a handout and one cookie--because Scary Ninja Chick wasn't really someone you wanted to take chances with--and started reading the handout on the way to her seat. Once she sat down, she rummaged in her backpack until she found a rubber band to tie her hair back with.

Conner signs in, takes a handout and a cookie, and edges away from Miho. Because apparently he can deal with skyscraper-sized freaktastic rubber monsters, but a tiny Japanese girl terrifies him.

Sakura signed in, taking a handout and a cookie like everyone else. She absently notes Miho's apparent ethnicity, and smiles. She leans forward into a bow instead of simply inclining her head in greeting like she would to most teachers, then went about finding a place to sit and read her handout.
