The Library (05/15)

Rory wandered in and opened the library for the first time in weeks, taking her seat behind the collections desk with a stack of books of her own.



[For les newbies - feel free to have your character come in and check out a book. All the dangerous stuff is located in Special Collections, for which you need a pass. For the oldbies - no OCD threads today since we don't have class periods. Just let me know what time you came in in the subject line or narrative. And Hermione and Willow, as soon as you're both in here, I'll stick up a thread of our own for the SC thing.]

Rory flicked through the cards and selected one, writing down the information in all-too-neat cursive. She handed it over. "Angelica Demesnes is who you're looking for," she supplied. "Oh, and I'm Rory. Give a shout if you need help."

"Angelica Demesnes," Z parroted. "I'm Z. Nice to meet you, Rory." She left, and a few minutes later returned with the first two books in the Flowers of the Caribbean series, The Jade Flower and The Amethyst Flower. "I'd like to check these out, please."

Z snickered as she wrote down her basics: Elizabeth Delgado, junior, 317. "I'm not chosen for anything, to the best of my knowledge. Wait. Does it count if I was recruited?"

"Maybe?" Rory shrugged. "There's one guy who's part of a prophecy, and another girl who used to go here who was 'Chosen' or something, and then these witches who count, too. So you can put it down if you want."
