Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, Saturday, All Day

It was the start of a new term, and there were some new people around, so it was time for a picnic! The sun was shining and the last bits of summer weather were still upon the island, so a few of the lawn's sprinklers insisted on doing their spraying duty no matter how much Zoe tried to turn them off. In less frustrating news, the food was ready, the nametags were out, and everything was set up for a lovely picnic day!

"It's more about visiting places than anything else," Stark said. "Plenty of time for chatting. I would think."

Although he might be distracted by Summer. Or other people. Probably Summer.

"Do you know who else is in the class?" Steven asked. "If it's all right for me to ask, that is. Not trying to find out anything if it's not meant to be known yet."

Steven couldn't read the sign up post, after all.

"Summer," Stark said with a slightly foolish grin. "Steph, Raiden, Illyana. Um, some of the students. Steph's Vi. A few others, I think."

It looked to be well attended. Which was not making Stark anxious at all. Obviously.

"Steph and Illyana?" Steven said, perking up. "Oh that'll be nice, having other friends there. Excuse for seeing a lot of people then."

"I just hope everyone enjoys it," Stark said. "I don't want to disappoint anyone."

Especially friends. That was the worst.

"There's food, so that's Illyana's good side right there," Steven said, in case that helped.

"And Raiden's," Stark said. "Maybe I'll have to find some sort of pizza related location to tour..."

"And you know Llewellyn and I will be rooting for you no matter what," Steven said.

Then he grinned. "Even if the food doesn't come direct out of the ground."
