Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, Saturday, All Day
It was the start of a new term, and there were some new people around, so it was time for a picnic! The sun was shining and the last bits of summer weather were still upon the island, so a few of the lawn's sprinklers insisted on doing their spraying duty no matter how much Zoe tried to turn them off. In less frustrating news, the food was ready, the nametags were out, and everything was set up for a lovely picnic day!

"No!" he said after a moment of internal panic, and then lifted his head so as not to get another mouthful of fur. "No, that's--fine! That's great! Roomie! Welcome back!"
Gray was also going to have to skedaddle from this here welcome picnic at some point to remove all the Squishmallows from Graham's bed and Converse from his closet and put them...somewhere. Maybe he could break into one of the empty rooms down the hall.

Because, look, he'd grown a lot since becoming a knight, and he almost sort of wondered...
"...are you sure?" he double-checked. "Because, if not, I could probably talk to the moose! I mean, unless there's been a whole lot of new people while I've been gone, there's always plenty of rooms in the dorms, right? I'm sure I could work something else out. I...I probably should have warned you; I'm sorry! I just got so caught up in being able to surprise everyone that I, uh..." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I guess I kinda forgot to work out some logistics."
And, you know, besides, if there was anyone who wouldn't object to a room full of Squishmallows and hardly needed closet space due to, you know, having a Cape of Holding...

He had his own internal panic to maintain. Which leaked out quite a bit as he frantically started to wave his hands in front of him as if to brush it all off.
"No, no, no!" he insisted. "It's okay! However you've got the room now, I can work around it! Well, maybe moving the ones on my bed, but, you know, things at the barracks are pretty sparse, too! I've gotten used to not needing a lot of personal space, what with the other knights and guards! So you're fine! And I've still got my pockets, I can just put most of my stuff in there! All I really need is a place to lay my head, and a spot to hang my hat!"

So many shoes.
Raiden had a whole study he wasn't using; Gray was sure he wouldn't mind if he filled it with Squishmallows and Converse.

He didn't look...entirely convinced, but he did give Gray a sort of hopeful smile. "Okay," he allowed, and then, more firmly, "but only if you're sure. Got it?"

"I'm totally sure," Gray assured him. "We're gonna have so much fun! Welcome back!"
