Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

"Unfortunately, I'm not. But lucky for you I don't think she's teaching this summer." he says "Though I'm sure she'll be very upset she's not teaching when she finds out you're here."

"She wasn't half bad of a professor. With the exception of her turning students into animals every class. Though the administration didn't seem to have a problem with it." Draco was suddenly very happy that Mad Eye Moody wasn't teaching here.

"That woman was a menace," Cedric says, shaking his head. "I damn near thought she was going to bite Harry's head off during our first interviews."

"Look on the bright side. When she's here she can't be writing articles about us in the Prophet." he says. He's had a lot of time to think about the pros of having Rita in the same school as him.
