Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

Jude placed on hand on his chest and assumed a lofty tone. Which was his usual slacker-drawl, only slower and over-enunciated. "I am Jude. And this is my skateboard." He said the word as if it were a holy relic.

The monkey on her shoulder doffed his hat to Jude and his skateboard.

Jude chuckled. "Hey little monkey-dude," he said, doffing his own tuque before smoothing it back into place over his messy blond hair.

Jude pulled a crumpled sheaf of papers - the tattered remins of his information booklet - out of his pocket and peered at the front page, flattening a bit. "Uh, four. Room 407."

Pippi is mildly disappointed she has yet to find any more 5th floor denizens. She peered over at Jude's paperwork to see if he had a roommate.

"Nice, we're above you then."
