Plants: Thursday Period One
Nell waited for the class at Portalocity today where she'd handwavily told them to meet. "Good morning, everyone," she said when they'd all arrived. "Today we're heading to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world.
"Kew Gardens in England is a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 50,000 living plants." Pretty much a dream for Nell. "We'll be visiting Temperate House, which is the world's largest greenhouse. It's home to 1,200 species of plants from all over the world. There are over 3,000 plants including some from remote places such as St. Helens and Pitcairn Island.
"You can check out the loneliest plant in the world and a plant grown from a 203 year old seed. After that we'll check out Kew's Kitchen Garden before heading over to try some of those vegetables and fruits at the Botanical Brasserie."
She smiled at them. "It's a lot to see, so let's get going."

Eat at The Botanical Brasserie

Re: Eat at The Botanical Brasserie
"My first real English tea."
Re: Eat at The Botanical Brasserie
He took a bite which consumed about half the sandwich, grinned at Nell, and then looked over the offering. "A good light snack."
Re: Eat at The Botanical Brasserie
"I think you could eat pretty much the whole menu here without filling up too much," she said with a smile. "But then I think the tea part is supposed to be just sort of a tide you over till dinner thing. And, of course, we'll be eating well thois afternoon if Oggy has anything to say about it."

Re: Eat at The Botanical Brasserie
Oggy? What the?"I don't think they have that problem here," Nell said, "But it sure was important back home. Which all would have been better with the right sort of company."
Which meant Gladio. Obviously.
Re: Eat at The Botanical Brasserie
"I know a lot of things," said Gladio, "that would have been better with the right sort of company."
Which, sure, he had Prompto and Ignis, always, and he'd had Iris and Aranea and Cindy and Cor back home, but he definitely meant Nell, too. Obviously.
He then looked around a little and jerked his chin toward the gardens. "You get any new exciting ideas from this place?"

Talk to Nell
Re: Talk to Nell
"Walk you to your next class?"

Re: Talk to Nell
Of course there was a wink there.
And, honestly, he was tempted, but he also liked for Nell to have that particular class for herself, because that was what it was all about, right?
Besides, he felt there was a good chance that Lils and Igs were probably absolutely insufferable during a good chunk of it, too.
Re: Talk to Nell
She swung her hand in his as they walked. "But I think... I think we should wait till after Iggy's class for the demonstration. Because I'd want to take the time to make sure I covered all the steps and that's something you just don't want to rush."
And she followed that with a kiss.
Re: Talk to Nell
"Can't argue with that," he said, still grinning as he pulled back back. "I can definitely wait. Maybe I'll just hit the gym in the meantime, to give you something to really work with. And I'd be a great subject for demonstration massages; think of how easy it is to see what muscles you're working with, right?"
Re: Talk to Nell
She grinned at him. "Yep, you hit the gym and then I can daydream about that whil I'm getting my massage."
