After Creature Languages, Molly went to the library to check and see if she still had any books out. Yeah, that was it. There was certainly nothing that she had been thinking about a lot since Sunday. And she certainly hadn't been thinking of asking Rory about it since then.

"Hey, Rory," she said as she walked up to the counter.

"Hi Molly!" Rory said cheerfully, thinking of her talk with Cameron the day prior. "How goes it?"

"One final project to turn in after lunch and I'm done," Molly said with a grin. "How about you?"

"The same, actually. I have a paper to turn in for Jung, and then I'm free and clear," Rory said. "What brings you to our illustrious library on such a day, then?"

"Oh, uh, I came to see if I had any library books out," Molly said in an off-handed manner. "I'm pretty sure I don't, but I thought I'd check."

Rory rolled her chair over to the main computer, and keyed in a few letters.

"Hayes, Molly," she read off. "Nope, you're in the clear. Which is good, since Zero'd have to come after you with a mallet or something."

Molly chuckled. "That sounds like something to see," she said.

Then, as if the thought had suddenly occurred to her, she said, "Oh. Hey, Rory. I was wondering if I could ask you a question. About last weekend."

"Sure," Rory said, raising a brow.

Molly hesitated for just a moment. "How much do you remember?" She finally asked. "I mean, Cam says he remembers everything, but you were, like, three. Can you remember everything that happened?"

"Kind of? I mean, my perception was a little off - I stole Archie's toy yacht and thought he had given it to me, for instance - but I remember it all from the pancakes to my wedding to the podracing." Rory tilted her head curiously. "Why?"

Molly looked down at her fingers which were nervously twined together on the counter top. "Oh, I was just wondering why you were so eager on Sunday night... In the lobby." She looked up at Rory. "Y'know. For me and Cam to pretend to get married. You seemed to want it really bad for some reason."

"Oh." Rory wondered how to phrase this. "Um. In the morning, Cam and I had been talking and I told him he should marry you, because he - as a little boy, of course - was very pro-Molly. So when we had the weddings, I saw the opportunity."

Molly grinned wryly. "That at least explains why he seemed to know about it when I had no clue. I'd picked up on the 'pro-Molly' on Saturday already. The fake wedding thing though," she shook her head a little, "that really caught me off guard."

She sighed. "I should be really mad at you, you know."

"Why?" Rory asked, confused. "I was wee and tiny. Also married one of my best friends, too, should be noted."

"Yeah, but if you hadn't been so pushy about the fake wedding, then I probably wouldn't have kissed Cam on Monday and it wouldn't have been on the radio and people wouldn't keep getting mad at him," Molly said.

"Do you know that no one has even asked me about it? I didn't even know anything had been on the radio until yesterday."

"I would have asked you, but I saw Cam first," Rory admitted. "So...this is me asking you. What happened with that? I mean, if you want to talk about it."

Blushing a little, Molly shrugged and looked back down at her hands. "I didn't plan on it. I meant to kiss him on the cheek like I've done before." She looked up at Rory again. "But then, I kissed him for real instead." She shrugged again, still blushing.

"Because it just felt right?" Rory guessed.

She might have been speaking from experience a bit.

Molly just nodded.

"Yeah. Cam told me yesterday that you guys are just going to be friends." Rory frowned, and leaned her elbows on the desk. "Is that what you want?"

"Cam is my best friend. I don't want to mess that up," Molly said. "I'm fine with the way things are right now."

Rory nodded. "I get not wanting to screw up the friendship," she said. "Been there. Also been in another situation that was kind of similar, but much more...um, complicated and bad on my part." She shook her head. "In any case - do what you guys want. And don't listen to people like Logan or anyone else who's giving you or him a hard time."

"I just wish people would quit blaming Cam," Molly said. "Did you know that Blair tried to pick a fight with him last night? Because he assumed that Cam had kissed me first? That could be the radio though. I still don't know what they said on Monday."

"Um, on Monday, they said 'Molly and Cam kissed,'" Rory said, blushing. "And there might have been some 'eeeeee'-ing. Because, um, I was the one who said it. Professor Skeeter shanghai'd me into doing radio. Long story."
