"Right," Steve said, pulling on his protective paintball jumpsuit as he talked, "today we've made the course substantially more difficult."

Since most some of you took this a little seriously. "There are more traps around the area that will trigger paint buckets to fall on you. So the course itself is also trying to eliminate you, as well as your fellow players."

"So, hopefully it'll prove to be a challenge on your level," Tony added. "Hopefully."

Look, they were doing their best with you crazy people.

"You also can't use your powers any longer," Steve said, arching his eyebrow at Anakin.

"So please be respectful of your classmates." Tony knew that was a fool's errand, but still.

Leaning out from behind a redoubt, Arden aimed her paintball gun and fired three bright yellow balls of paint directly at Anakin's back before diving back under cover.

Was she hiding? Fuck yes she was hiding.

Kamala was going solidarity with Arden on this one. After finding a good place to hide she popped up and shot at Anakin at virtually the same time as Arden.

Ben was not going to hide at all. Ben was standing in front of his grandfather and aiming for center mass.

Once everyone else had taken their shots and he didn't have to feel bad about it, Cal also shot at Anakin, being kind and just aiming for one of his legs.

Defiant in her non-power use, Kamala had managed to get to the high ground by climbing up a drainpipe on one of the cabins and assumed a sniper position.

Climbing things seemed like something to avoid, for this week at least, so Cal was on the ground, determined to not trip any of the traps, and focused on keeping an eye out for Arden.
