Food Network Appreciation, Friday 5/31 2nd Period
“Today we have candy bars,” Stark said. “And we’ll be watching a show called Unwrapped which was about the making of various foods. Lots of different sorts of foods including lots of candies and today I thought we’d have chocolate bars because why not have chocolate bars?”
It was totally sound logic, okay?
“This episode was called ”Candy Bar Bonanza” and talked about Milky Way and Twix and a candy bar made with bacon. Which is odd but fine. But bacon doesn’t really need to be in everything even though sometimes people think it does.”
“So,” he continued, “I have all of the candy bars mentioned in the episode for you all to try if you like and some others as well.” Because why not? “And maybe you can decide which is your favorite, if you like? We could discuss chocolate bars. Why not?”
Look, this workshop was meant to just be fun and involve watching TV and eating snacks but they could pretend to have discussions. As a treat.

Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"There is always room for cupcakes," Stark told her.
He stepped closer and lowered his voice. "And there is always room for you. Thank you, for thinking of me. Should we eat now or take them home?"
Either apartment was fine with him.
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
She smirked a little as Stark stepped in and dropped his voice, and she followed suit by dropping hers as well.
"Guess that depends," she said. "Do you want to stick around here to eat them? Do you think you could wait until we got home?"
Odds of the cupcakes having to wait even longer once they got there were probably pretty high, too.
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"I can wait," Stark said, leaning in to press a kiss to her cheek. "You know I'm good at waiting."
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
Maybe it'd be a good excuse to hit up a different time zone if she had to.
"I do know that," Summer agreed, smile softening a little at that sweet kiss on the cheek and the box of cupcakes shifting to one hand as the other found one of Stark's. "You good to go now? Or do you have to do anything else before you're done?"
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"I should clean up the leftover candy," he said, squeezing her hand. Unless Gray had eaten it all? Or... it could just be here as a gift for whoever is in the room next."
Or some gremlins, lbr. Maybe they needed a sugar high!
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
Summer could see arguments for both ways!
"We could just nake sure it's all neat and tidy for whoever uses this room next, maybe?" she suggested.
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"I have a bag. We could just put it back in the bag?" Stark suggested, moving towards the snack table to do so. No, he hadn't let go of her hand yet. Why would he?
"And leave the bag. Maybe with a note? It doesn't look like anyone made a mess..."
And Gray wasn't noticeably passed out anywhere, was he?
"Then we can go home for cupcakes." And whatever else might happen to be on the menu. Ahem.
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
You can see thr inherent paradox in the system!
And Summer was going to follow along afterwards, because why wouldn't she? He still had her hand.
"Sounds like a good plan."
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"Do you see anything not on this table? Wrappers or candies left behind?"
It was a small class. They were unlikely to make too much of a mess. What was left on the table was easily swept back into the same bag it had come from when Stark brought it to the classroom earlier. Even one-handed.
"Or was there any of this you'd like to take with you?"
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"I think I'm good with just the cupcake," she said. "I need to go shopping after this, the last thing I need is to try on power suits all bloated on chocolate.
"So that's what your class was today, huh? Candy bars?"
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"We watched an episode of Unwrapped about chocolate bars so we ate chocolate bars," Stark said. "And...power suits?"
He was picturing an Iron Summer (Iron Girlboss?) situation, honestly.
"Why do you need those?"
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
"I have a VIB tomorrow morning," Summer informed him with a prim little lift of her chin. "That's Very Important Brunch. For some marketing shit I'm doing in New York, so I wanted to make sure I looked the part, real girl boss bossbabe vibes, you know?"
Re: Talk to Stark[5/31]
Stark started to nod, then shook his head. "I don't know, really. But...if you need a suit you should definitely get a suit. For New York. I've only been there for your birthday the one time, New York."
