When Belle arrived in the library she found Fosse carrying out a bag full of books.
"Where are you taking those?"
"Quarantine," was the ominous reply. "They need it. And don't use that book return bin right now."
Belle was feeling somewhat unsettled when she sat down at the desk. Why would books need to be quarantined? Why was the book return out of service? Why was there a sign about the dangers of pesticides?
