Anakin was feeling particularly inspired today, which was why when people arrived for Shenanigans (or made their ill-advised way through the park not realizing it was a Wednesday), they would find a baseball field set up between the playground and the pond. The bleachers had been placed around it so everyone could live out their sudden need to watch a baseball game! The only tiny, tiny problem with this set-up? Anakin had absolutely no idea how baseball worked. Yes, he'd lived on Earth for twenty years. Yes, he'd married a person from Earth. But really, if you looked at Rory and thought "now there's a sports fan," well, that's entirely your mistake.

The field was correct--home plate, pitchers mound, three bases in a diamond--but everything else would get a little haywire. It was Shenanigans, you couldn't expect otherwise, could you?

"Welcome to Shenanigans!" Anakin yelled through the as-always unnecessary bullhorn. "Today we shall be divided into two baseball teams! Instead of shirts, you shall be receiving mascot outfits! I understand that is the real reason to attend a baseball game! Listen for your names, change into your baseball outfits--" sure, Anakin, go with that, "--and then I will explain the rules!"

This would go great.

Dean? Still a woman. And addressing that fact by drinking from a flask because at this point Dean was done with the week.

Rey gave Dean a sidelong look. She didn't recognize the person but something was familiar...?

Dean saw the sidelong and just waved back at her. "Hey, Rey. I'm not new. I'm Dean."

"Is it that time again?" she asked, looking around in case she'd missed something.

"I don't know," Dean said taking another swig from the flask. "I was a dog on Monday. So clearly the solution to all of this is more drinking."

"Are you having one too?" Dean asked with a sympathetic look.

"Not too bad. Gremlin bite," she said. "Luckily very few people saw it."

Which, you know what, was sad for everyone else.

Dean just nodded slowly and offered Rey a hit off the flask.

Thor was definitely giving Dean a curious look as he passed, as Dean currently looked...rather familiar. The likeness was not precise, to be sure, but remarkable enough to be worth a second glance.

After the conversation with Jane yesterday, Dean should have known he'd get that look. "Hey Thor," she said with a wave. "It's Dean Winchester. I'm just a woman now. Or at least temporarily."

"Dude, I just got here a couple of weeks before you did," Dean chuckled. "So no. This is a first time for me."

Jane had not really filled Don in on this part of things, on account of their being too busy failing to communicate, and, well, Thor was from a universe where weird shit happened for all sorts of reasons.
