Creative Writing--So Simple Even You Can Do It! (Probably), Monday, Period 4

"By everything lucky, you guys, I just found something that makes writing stories so much easier!" There was an unholy glee in Navaan's eyes that wasn't even chemically induced! "There's this brilliant...thing! You just put words in and it populates whole stories for you!"

Navaan had discovered the glory of Mad-Libs, y'all. And was a little confused about how copyright and intellectual property laws worked. Then again, in her world, they really didn't.

"Remember all those fancy words we talked about last week? Well, it's time to put them to real work. Brush 'em off, put them in, and BOOM! You have your very own story!"

She dropped a bunch of Mad-Libs books peoples' desks. "You can work together if you want, but then you have to fight over who gets to use that scene in their book. No fistfights in the classroom--you take that to the nearest mud pit or jello ring or oil bath like a civilized person!"

Given his encounter with Harley the other day, Steven's attention was caught by the story about bats. After entering in some words, he had the following result:

Bats are so cool! They are BLUE, HANDSOME animals which have wings. They like to fly around at NOON which makes some people scared of them. But bats are FAST, and they don't want to hurt people. I have a pet bat that lives in LIBRARY. I like to feed him FRENCH TOAST and EGG SANDWICH. He likes to DANCE. I am his favorite person, but he also likes CAT. I want to convince my parents to get me THREE more bats.

Belle was drawn to the Australia story for unknown reasons, really.

I decided to go on a vacation to Australia with BOOK
. We got to the airport 12 hours early. When we went through security, I got stopped because I forgot to take CAT out of my pocket. We got some POP-TART for the flight and arrived at the gate. Once we boarded the plane, I was sitting next to a very MYSTERIOUS
man. He spent the entire flight READING and talking about his job doing KNIGHT.. Whenever I tried to sleep, he would step around me to go to the SOCKS. I was so GRUMPY. Since I couldn't sleep, I decided to ARGUE and KISS instead. Finally, we arrived in Australia. All in all, the flight was OLDER!
