School Announcements, May 1

Zordon has not yet had time to process the fact that everyone is back to normal; he's been too busy mulling over the note that was slipped under the Command Center door at some point during the night. For related reasons, the announcements seem especially somber today.

"Good morning. The following anonymous message was received at some point during the night, and thus far appears to be entirely accurate.

We, the hardworking bathroom doors of this school, feel that our services have gone unappreciated and inadequately compensated for far too long. As of today, we are on strike until such time as our services are properly compensated. Entertainment, in the form of the lyrics to "Ever the Same" recited as dramatic monologue, would be considered adequate compensation for now. Thank you in advance for considering our plea.

We are working to resolve the issue now, and negotiations are under way. However, for the time being we regret to inform you that the bathroom doors will, in fact, not open unless you meet their demands. We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience, but would like to disclaim that bathing does not give you the plague."

I blame kawalsky for the use of "Ever the Same" as dramatic monologue and would personally like to disclaim that I HAVE NEVER HEARD IT AND WANT TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. *flails*

ETA: This applies to the common bathrooms in both the dorms and school building. Those of you with ensuite bathrooms in your dorm rooms, whether or not you want them to be on strike too is entirely up to you.]]

It's the sort of insidious song that gets under your skin and sneaks into your ears while you're unawares! seriously, I didn't know I'd heard the song for, like, a month until I looked it up and realized I'd heard it THREE TIMES A DAY AT WORK ALL MONTH!]

It was established early in the game that Maia has a bathroom with a shower in her dormroom. Will the bathroom door being on strike be in her dorm room as well?
