Dangershop: Playground

After being almost being handwavy stampeded by a few miniture students, it didn't take long for Mac to figure out what might have happened overnight.

Being the resourceful guy he is? He headed down to the Dangershop where he spent a few minutes programming it for a more suitable environment for the kids.

He also made sure that the safety locks were on and could not be unlocked.

[ooc: OCD Threads coming up! Safety locks will prevent any harm to the students, though skinned knees and boo-boos can happen. Feel free to add your own playground equipment.]

Anakin came barrelling into the playground and looked around with wide eyes. "Oooooh," he said, then ran to the slide and clambered up the stairs and threw himself, face first, down it.

"Yippee!"

Since she can't get tagged again yet, Aeryn comes over to the slide anda sks, "What if you get hurt?"

"Oh, I won't get hurt," Anakin said, dusting himself off. "I'm very lucky." He nodded. "I'm gonna be a Jedi."

"But you could hit your head," she points out.

"But I won't," Anakin countered. "'Sides, Obi-Wan says I'm too hard-headed for it to have any lasting damage."

He nodded. "And this is fun. Though I think I could come up with a way to make us go faster when we slide down."

Aeryn pauses, and looks at the slide. "How?" she wonders.

"Sand," Anakin said with authority. "It makes everything go faster." He frowned. "Except when it gets into podracer engines, of course, then it just makes you stop and fall out of the sky and that's bad."

He looked around. "Jet packs would work, too, but I don't think I can make those with the stuff in here."

"I'm a pilot," Anakin replied. "Is that kind of the same?"

Piper wandered into the playground and immediately ran to the slide. "Ooh! I wanna play!"

The girl had a pony-tail. So Alanna pulled on it.

"HEY!" Piper cried, glaring at Alanna.

Alanna giggled and pulled the other one, careful not to drop the kitten in her other hand, though.

"You better stop doing that!" Piper wasn't happy...until she saw the kitty. And pulled his tail.

Faithful meowled at Piper and tried to hide in Alanna's shirt. "HEY! Don't poke m'cat!"

Alanna pouted at Piper. "But it was just hangin there!"

Maureen saw Anakin coming off the slide, and squealed. "ANGELO!!!"

She nearly knocked him over with a tackle-hug.

"My name's Anakin," he corrected her as he tried to pull her off of him. "Not Angelo."

Maureen pulled back, and stared at him, her chin starting to wibble. She's four, it happens. "Not Angelo?" She leaned in real close to her face, then sniffed. "I thought you were my friend Angelo, but he's not here."

"I can be your friend anyway," Anakin offered.

Even though he's a boy, he's nice. "Thank you!" Maureen hugged him again, then let him go. "And you can be friends with me *and* Esme, Anakin!" She patted the bunny, who looked very long-suffering.

"No more hugging, though," Anakin said. "I'm practically a grown up.. "Hello, Esme," he said.

"Okay," Maureen said agreeably. He wasn't Jarod or Angelo, so she didn't really want to hug him so much. He was a boy. "Esme says hi! I'm gonna go on the slide again now. Talk to you later, Anakin!"

And a little while later, she was back. "Anakin? Can you help me an' Zero? You're bigger than us."
