Dangershop: Playground

After being almost being handwavy stampeded by a few miniture students, it didn't take long for Mac to figure out what might have happened overnight.

Being the resourceful guy he is? He headed down to the Dangershop where he spent a few minutes programming it for a more suitable environment for the kids.

He also made sure that the safety locks were on and could not be unlocked.

[ooc: OCD Threads coming up! Safety locks will prevent any harm to the students, though skinned knees and boo-boos can happen. Feel free to add your own playground equipment.]

After glancing at the video feeds from her office, Zoe was surprised, and a little concerned, to see children in the Danger Shop. With visions of evil children sent to invade the school in her head, she made her way down to check it out.

Well, the kids certainly looked innocent enough. Hmm.

Craning up his neck, Cameron looked up at Zoe. Everyone was tall here.

"Yo princi- prin-" He blinked. "M'am Wasburnt!"

Zoe couldn't tell if it was a good or bad sign that the little boy seemed to know her name.

"Hello there," she said. "What are you all doing down here?"

"Playing tag, but they can't tag me back so now I've got to wait until Callisto finally tags Aeryn, but they're being slow any talkative so there's no tagging going on and I think I might be getting bored now. Want to play on the swings?" He asked in one breath.

Zoe just blinked for a moment, trying to process that babbling. She recognized Callisto and Aeryn's names, and she could see the other two little girls running around. But surely that wasn't them...

"What's your name?" she asked.

Cameron beamed and puffed up his chest. "I'm Cam Mitchell. Not Cammie, because that's stupid. Major K calls me Camboy, that's a cool name."

Aeryn might ruin the element of surprise by saying, "Good morning, Principal Washburn!" as she goes to chase after Cam.

Oh dear god. Zoe would facepalm if she didn't think it would be taken the wrong way.

"Cam? You look...younger than I've seen you before. How old are you?"

Cameron meeped and quickly ran behind Zoe's legs to keep the principal between him and Aeryn.

"I'm seven nearly eight," Callisto chirped, staring at Zoe. She was like a pirate, or a queen, or a pirate queen!

Aeryn's not sure if she has to tag Cam, but this is an authority figure...

She tags Zoe. "You're it," she explains.

"I'm it?" Then she realizes they're all running away from her, and that Cam had said something about tag.

She couldn't help but wonder if this was included in her job description.

"I'm gonna catch you, you know!" she said.

"Cam's slower!" Callisto yelled out, still making like the wind.

"I'm glad to see you're not a kid either." Zoe motioned to the growing group around them. "Do you know where these kids came from?"

"They're all other students," Molly said. "That's Cam and that's Callisto," she indicated the children in question. "I don't know who the little dark haired girl is yet. They all seem to know each other though. So far, only Anders and I are normal."

"Aeryn, maybe? I think that's what Cam said her name was." This was not how Zoe intended her weekend to start. "So there's two of you who are all right? That's something, I suppose."

"I just hope this doesn't last long," Molly said with a sigh. "It's been a long morning already."

"Have you been with them all morning?" Zoe said, clearly impressed.

Molly nodded. "I woke up in the middle of the night and ended up in the second floor common room watching TV. I fell asleep there and Cam woke me up early. I've been trying to keep at least some of them from getting into too much trouble since then. Some of them got away though. Anders and I were way outnumbered."
