Journalistic Integrity - 3rd period & Journalism 101/201 - 7th period

Rita was looking annoyed at the front of the class.

"I hope you all had a pleasant time on Wednesday," she said, wondering what exactly had been taught. "Today's a review while you work on your projects. Ask me anything, and use your time to study."

[I'm still a bit wiped from travel and so on omg, so only one post and if I drop off suddenly, it's safe to assume that I'm sleepinating.]

Rita sighed and covered her face with a hand. "No, I don't. So you can take that away."

"But it's a gift," Anakin protested. "And I'm sure you still need the bleach." He gestured to her hair, flailing slightly. "For your hair and stuff."

What did Anakin know about self-preservation? A lot less than Obi-Wan could've hoped for, that's for sure.

Rita glanced up, looked him over once, and pulled her wand from her sleeve.

And turned him into a wee tabby kitten.

Anakin was...fluffy.

And short.

And adorable.

And not happy.

He arched up his back and hissed at Rita.

"Aww, lookie at the widdle kitty," Rita cooed.

Anakin reached into the Force to bounce Rita around the room like a ball.

But...kitten. So no luck.

He hissed louder, then dove under the desk. Maybe if no one could see him...

Rita picked up her newspaper, making sure that the paper made plenty of noise, and studiously ignored him.

Anakin hated everything.

Rita peered under the desk and reached out to scritch his itty bitty ears, aww.

Anakin reached out to rake her hand with his itty bitty claws, ha!

Rita kicked him when he scratched her, omg.

Oh, she was going to be sorry when he wasn't a kitten any more.

Anak...er, Anakitty, shook himself off and glared.

Rita was terrified.

Really.

Anakin glared some more.

Vengeance would be his, oh yes.

Plotting looked a great deal like being sullen on a kitten face.

Rita thought he was the wee-est, most adorable teeny little kitty she'd ever seen.

And then she got an evil idea.

"Why, ickle kitty, should I call a friend for you?"

Panicked kitty.

He skittered out from under the desk and hid behind the bookshelf.

"Perhaps I should call a tiny little friend for you to play with, since you seem so shy...."

Anakin had a bad feeling about this.

Peter took out his camera phone and took a picture. Rory would appreciate this.

"Poor Anakin. At least the Former Skeeter Animal Clubhouse will be a bit nicer with a Jedi around."

Anakin tried to make a rude gesture at Peter.

But sadly, still a kitten. So it just looked like a little kitty wave.

Peter took another picture. "Sorry. But you do understand why this must be done, right?"

He sent the pictures to Rory before Anakin could give him a Jedi kitty attack of some sort.

Anakin still hated everything.

Just to make that clear.

He curled himself under Rita's desk to have a wee kitty sulk.

"Isn't he precious?" Rita asked Peter.

"I've seen cuter humans-turned-kitten," Peter said. "Sorry, BB, but it's true."

Anakin sulked more.

Not that he wanted to be cute. Or precious. Or anything.

But he was a kitten.
