Journalistic Integrity - 3rd period & Journalism 101/201 - 7th period

Rita was looking annoyed at the front of the class.

"I hope you all had a pleasant time on Wednesday," she said, wondering what exactly had been taught. "Today's a review while you work on your projects. Ask me anything, and use your time to study."

[I'm still a bit wiped from travel and so on omg, so only one post and if I drop off suddenly, it's safe to assume that I'm sleepinating.]

"Oh, but he's such an adorable wee kittycat..." Rita said, reconsidering.

"He is. But aren't you tired of animals at this point? It would be nice to let him be a real boy again on the last day of the semester," Peter pleaded while taking another picture.

"He could be a hat," Rita said thoughtfully.

Anakin skittered out from under the desk, looking for a better place to hide.

He settled on the garbage can and leaped in.

Not a proud moment for the Jedi.

Peter took another picture and sent it to Rory. Because awww.

"Ooh!"

Rita had a fun idea.

She murmured and incantation, and something appeared on her desk.

She glanced at the omgtotallyhiddenkitty, and threw the ball of yarn into the middle of the floor.

Anakin wasn't really a kitten.

But some things are apparently hardwired.

So now he was playing with yarn.

And of course he got tangled.

Because he's not very good at being a kitten.

Yep. Picture. Rory. Not a shock.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww."

So profound.

Anakin was now a tied-up kitten.

There aren't words to express how unamused he was right now.

"You seem to be a bit tangled," Rita noted. "Perhaps it was unwise for you to frolic with the yarn like that."

Anakin shot Rita a "no kidding, lady" look, then batted at the yarn some more.

It didn't help.

Rita lazily flicked her wand and the yarn went away.

Instead there was a weetiny little wind-up mouse skittering around the floor.

Which Anakin chased. As you do.

But sullenly because he's still Anakin.

Yet another picture. "Anakin, I have to keep taking pictures if you keep being adorable."

Anakin endeavored to be less adorable while still chasing a mouse.

It might've had mixed results.

"Awww," Rita cooed again. And then she sighed, growing bored. "Mr. Skywalker, if I turn you back into a boy again, will you refrain from being quite so irritating?"

"Bitch, please," is a look that was apparently universal on all faces.

Anakin tried to look more adorable because graduating as a kitten would be embarrassing.

Rita sighed and flicked her wand at him.

No more kitty. Woe.

Just a cranky Jedi on the floor.

He stood up and brushed the dust from his pants and glared at Rita. Then he kicked the wee toy mouse, just for effect.

"Ickle kittycat have fun?" Rita asked sweetly.

"Hardly," Anakin replied coldly.

This was Anakin holding onto his temper by a thread.

"How sad," Rita said calmly.

Grinding his teeth like that was probably not good for them.

Anakin clenched his hands tighter and concentrated on his breathing.

Killing teachers in a fit of temper=bad, after all.

"You were much more likeable that way," she added.
