Phys Ed; Thursday, First Period [11/02].
Gladio was sort of feeling like this week was a good week to 'take it easy,' as it were, although his definition of 'taking it easy' didn't always match other people's. Still, today was going to be pretty simple and straight forward, especially since he knew the focus would be something that a few of the students in the class had already taken a class on that summer, since he was in that class right with him.
"What we're focusing on today," he said, once everyone was there and ready to go in the gym, which had plenty of mats laid out, "is something I know some of you have done before, but it's one of those things that's good every time you do it, even if you're really familiar with it, and that's yoga. You know how I'm always emphasizing the importance of stretching out and getting limber before any big workout, and yoga really puts a lot of focus on that, as well as then pushing beyond just stretching and really being good for toning your muscles, it's great for really strengthening your core and enhancing your flexibility for better performance. Not only that, but its got its roots in things like meditation and mindfulness, so while you're working on fine tuning all those muscles, you're also working on fine tuning your brain," he grinned at the class as he tapped his forehead, "and we could all use a little bit more of that, right?
"So let's do a quick warm-up and then I'm going to go over some of the more basic yoga positions, and then maybe some intermediate ones, too, since I know we've got some more experience in this class, and then, when you're feeling comfortable, we can work on figuring out some good sequences to put the poses into that'll really make the most out of them for you. They may not seem like much on the surface, but, believe me, guys, you'll be feeling it by the time we're done."
Or else, honestly, they were kind of just doing it wrong.

Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.

"Hydration for your thoughts?" he offered, since that daydreamy expression on her face throughout class today definitely got him curious about what might be going on in that head of hers today.
Well, more so than usual, anyway.
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
Her voice trailed off and her eyes closed again with a smile. "And you smiled at me and- you have such a wonderful smile."
Another pause. "Such wonderful things came from that yoga class."
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
"Yoga's good for the mind, body, and soul," he agreed, with a pleased little chuckle as he leaned back with his arms behind him a little, to stretch out and hold himself up with his elbows. As he settled, he was watching Nell, too, and just sort of...basking a little in how content and happy and comfortable she was for a moment, before that smile on his face tilted in the eve of no doubt going and ruining all of it with his next comment, surely:
"And now look at you," he said. "Can barely even keep your hands off'a me."
Come on, that was too good of a set-up to just let it pass him by!
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
She turned and smiled at him. 'That's hardly my fault," she teased. "You're just so tempting. Once you told me I didn't need permission, well, guess you just turned me into a wild woman. No telling just what I might get up to these days."
She had a few ideas. Maybe more than a few, but most were not really suitable for a public place where anyone could walk in.
She was smiling to herself again, thinking about the things they did together and how wonderful they made her feel.

"What can I say? I like a good element of surprise," he told her, then chuckled a little, any hopes to be convincingly serious thrown right out the window before it even had a chance, and, with that chuckle, it seemed to wind down into just more of him just sitting back and admiring her again.

His head tilted in a very different way, almost as if lead by his lifting eyebrows.
"Well, I like seeing you in just about anything." Or even next to nothing! That didn't really seem to be an opinion of contention here. What seemed, to him, to be far more up in the air was...
"Would you like to see yourself in a dress like that?"
A beat.
"Privately," didn't hurt to emphasize, he felt, "of course."
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
Nell shifted so she could lean on one elbow and smile at him. "I do think that sometime soon I'd like to experiment more with you. Thinking about having sex makes me feel a little uncomfortable, but Liliana called it lovemaking instead. And that actually sounds very... fascinating. Isn't it funny how saying something in a different way can make such a huge difference?"
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
"Maybe a little," he said, "but...it makes sense. To recontextualize it, to something with less...negative attachments. I mean," his grin was almost apologetic, with a faint shrug of a shoulder as if to add to the reframing as something that didn't even need to be that big of a deal, at least not between them, "that's definitely what it would be. But we can call it whatever you want, as long as you're comfortable with it.
"And it probably goes without saying," he added, "but I'll say it anyway, just in case: whatever you want, whenever you're ready, you know I'm here for working it out together."
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
She leaned in to give him a soft kiss. "I'm looking forward to it. I never imagined I would, but with you... everything's different and beautiful."
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
"M'looking forward to it, too," he told her, then huffed out a small laugh. "But, well, hardly any surprise there..."
Re: Talk to the Teacher - Phys Ed, 11/02.
She moved in closer to touch his hair before kissing him again. "I love you, Gladio. More than I can ever tell you "
